Professsor Dr.Maniruzzaman bhuiyan graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1977.He received his Diploma in child health (DCH) degree from university college Dublin under national university of Ireland in 1986, became fellow of the college of general practitioners of Bangladesh(FCGP) IN 1999.Professor Dr.maniruzzaman bhuiyan started his career as a medical officer in Dhaka medical college in 1978. After that he joined in Dhaka shishu hospital as resident medical officer from 1st November 1978 to 2nd December 1979.Then he joined as a general practitioner under the ministry of health and medical education ,Islamic republic of Iran and worked as Director also in this hospital.in 1986 he worked in national children hospital –Dublin in clinical attachment. He also worked as Consultant pediatrician in farabi general hospital and an enlisted consultant pediatrician in UNDP clinic, indian high commission Dhaka. He joined in Holy family red crescent medical college hospital as Junior pediatric consultant in 1993 and promoted to senior consultant pediatrician in 1998 and became vice principal of holy family red crescent medical college in 2000 and contributed to establish this medical college.He has done Master of public health (MPH) IN 2006 AND RECEIVED PHD from Atlantic national university ,California, USA in 2006.He have worked as Professor of pediatrics department and Principal of Holy family red crescent medical college hospital from 2009 to 2017.Currently he is working as Professor of Pediatrics and vice chairman of Bikrampur bhuiyan medical college hospital.Dr.Bhuiyan is the President of Bangladesh private medical practitioners association (BPMPA), President of Bangladesh private hospital-clinic diagnostic owners association (BPHCDOA) & Executive member BMDC& BMA.
