Dr. Ariful Islam passed MBBS in 2008 from Ibrahim Medical College & BIRDEM General Hospital under University of Dhaka. He did his FCPS in Internal Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 2019. He also completed MRCP part 2 in Internal Medicine from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons UK in 2017. He also completed certified course on diabetes from BIRDEM in 2011. He has multiple research articles on Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever management and Vitamin D association in Psoriasis. He worked in BIRDEM General Hospital as Senior Medical Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine & ICU from 2009 to 2019. Thereafter he joined in United Hospital as Specialist from 2019 till now in the Department of Internal Medicine and Emergency. He has been working as front liner in the management of COVID patients during this pandemic situation.
